Creating a brand that tradespeople genuinely connect with through authentic storytelling, honest design and consistent creative direction across digital and print.
Bathroom Takeaway Trade.
Bathroom Takeaway Trade was created to speak directly to professional bathroom installers - a very different audience from the main Bathroom Takeaway brand. Rather than polished advertising, the identity was built around authenticity, celebrating the reality of life on the tools through honest photography, relatable humour and content that feels like it comes from the trade itself.
The brand's visual language is rooted in the idea that if it looks like an advert, it has failed. Using disposable film cameras, real installers document their own jobs, creating a distinctive aesthetic that can't be replicated in a studio. The result is a brand that feels credible, community-driven and genuinely part of the trade.
My role.
I led the creative development of the Bathroom Takeaway Trade brand, designing the logo, establishing the colour palette and helping refine the brand's tone of voice. I presented the brand identity to senior stakeholders and worked closely with the wider team to ensure the creative direction aligned with both the audience and the company's objectives.
Since launch, I have continued to manage and evolve the brand across multiple touch points. My work includes designing monthly email campaigns, creating and managing organic social media content, producing in-store print assets and maintaining consistency across every piece of visual communication.
I also assist in planning and running the brand's disposable camera competitions, encouraging tradespeople to capture their installations using single-use cameras. These campaigns generate the authentic photography that defines the brand's identity, and I help transform this content into engaging social campaigns while ensuring every asset remains true to the established creative direction.
From the original identity through to day-to-day campaign design, this has become an ongoing branding project where I oversee the visual consistency and continued growth of the brand. It combines branding, digital design, print, content creation and creative strategy to build a recognisable identity that resonates with the trade community.
