The Warm Regards Campaign.
About Warm regards
Warm Regards was a seasonal brand campaign created for Bathroom Takeaway to reposition the brand as more than just a bathroom retailer. Rather than focusing on product features or price, the campaign explored the emotional side of home, using warmth as both a physical feeling and a metaphor for comfort, family and connection during the colder months.
The campaign followed the story of a woman returning home after a long autumn day. Through a cinematic sequence of everyday moments: coming in from the cold, warming towels on a radiator, running a bath and settling down with a hot drink. The campaign highlighted how bathrooms can become spaces of relaxation and sanctuary. By contrasting the cold, blue tones with the warm lighting and rich autumnal colours inside the home, the creative aimed to evoke feelings of comfort, familiarity and the simple joy of everyday routines.
A significant amount of planning went into developing the campaign before production began. This included defining the core narrative, researching audience insights, exploring seasonal trends, building mood boards, creating storyboards, writing shot lists and planning how the campaign would be adapted across multiple marketing channels. Every creative decision, from the colour palette and lighting to the sound design and camera angles, was carefully considered to reinforce the transition from feeling overwhelmed to feeling at home. The campaign was designed to deliver a consistent story across paid advertising, organic social media, email marketing, video content and photography.
As part of the marketing team, I supported the campaign throughout its development. I created mood boards to help establish the visual direction, contributed to creative discussions as the concept evolved and assisted with the design of presentation decks, storyboards and campaign assets. Although I wasn't leading the creative direction, I was involved throughout the process and gained valuable experience seeing how a large-scale campaign develops from an initial idea into a fully realised marketing campaign. Working alongside the wider marketing team strengthened my understanding of visual storytelling, campaign planning and collaborative design, while allowing me to contribute creatively across multiple stages of the project.
Digital out of home designs
As part of the Warm Regards campaign, stills from the hero video were adapted for use across digital out-of-home advertising. Each execution featured a different frame from the video paired with tailored messaging focused on either bathrooms or radiators. This ensured the campaign remained visually consistent while allowing the creative to highlight different product categories.
Creating a storyboard
As part of the campaign planning process, I created the storyboard for the video advert. Using Procreate on my iPad, I hand-drew each key scene to visually communicate the concept and sequence of the campaign. Once the illustrations were complete, I imported them into Adobe Creative Suite and arranged them into a finished storyboard, providing a clear visual guide for the production of the final video.
